WHAT IS R.A.P.P. JUMPING The word Rapp Jumping derives from the word forward rappelling. Rapp Jumping was developed by the Australian S.A.S(Special Air Service) as a deployment technique into jungles and terrorist and hostage situations. Designed so that a soldier on the rope can descend using both hands to operate a weapon whilst his comrade at the bottom of the rope controls his speed and descent. Rapp jumping (S.R.T) is a very new sport in South Africa. The fact that it has such an excellent safety record makes it attractive to many. The way we operate is a bit different to that of the S.A.S. but the principles are the same. Rapp Jumping is like walking down a street except taking the horizontal to vertical. Once on the wall the jumper can run, jump, spin, walk even crawl at gravity's expense. COST : @R75.00 per person per jump
