HIKING

The hotel is situated on a 2000 hectare private natue reserve with beautiful hikes and walks - we also have a guide who would be able to take the guests on a guided hike.  Duration and difficulty to suit the guest's need.

HORSE RIDES

1 Hour Novice rides with our guide.  Experienced rides on request.

LOW AND MEDIUM ROPES COURSE

Through the course of 4 activities, team members have to assist each other to cross obstacles between 1 1/2 and 3 metres above the ground, successfully. These activities are supervised by trained facilitators and the participants are attached to safety harnesses.

MINI OLYMPICS

A variety of fun team sports eg. bowls, putt-putt , volleyball.

R.A.P.P. JUMPING

The forward descent of vertical surfaces for the more adventurous. Once on the wall the jumper can run, jump, spin, walk even crawl at gravity's expense.

TROUT FISHING

For the keen fishermen, we have a lovely dam stocked with trout that is one and a half hours' walk from the resort.

OFF SITE

GOLF

Harrismith boasts the second oldest golf club in South Africa and is a mere 25 minute drive from the Resort. The course is a championship S.A.G.F. Par 72 (6529 m). Contact the Club Secretary on tel 058 623 0468 or Little Switzerland. 

HYDRO SCHEME

Jagersrust offers a very interesting Hyroscheme tour. The Hydroscheme is the size of a 52 floor building, but underground.  Contact our Reception Desk should you wish to book. Weekdays at 10:00am and 14h00pm.

QUAD BIKES 

This activity is facilitated by a qualified company from Clarens in the Free State.
